Please make sure your system meets the following requirements
- Slackware Linux 14.1 i686 or x86-64
- 1GHz processor
- 512 MB of RAM
- 2GB free hard drive space
It’s also highly recommended that you begin with a clean installation of Slackware 14.1.
If everything above checks out, then proceed to download the installer and run these commands as root:
# installpkg PackageKit-0.8.17-i686-3dl_install.txz
or
# installpkg PackageKit-0.8.17-x86_64-3dl_install.txz
# pkcon refresh force
# pkcon install dropline
